Help us start a 501(c)(3)

Hi Everyone! Please copy and paste and send this to as many people as you can, we need to get this off the ground ASAP!!!

KIDS BEING KIDS FOUNDATION

Good Afternoon,

My name is Tracy Chisolm and I am a cancer survivor.

Dealing with cancer has not only been strenuous on me but the affects on my 2 children ages 4 and 8 have been tremendous. Due to the high cost of medical care and inconsistency of doctors visits my children have been unable to participate in extracurricular activities that would benefit them not only personally but socially.

I am raising money to begin my own non-profit 501(c)(3) organization named Kids Being Kids Foundation to enable kids to be just kids. This organization would offer kids the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities whether that is karate for one year or ballet classes. We would like to offer grants to families that have a parent or caretaker who is mentally, seriously or terminally ill and find it difficult for their kids to be kids.

In today's economy the astronomical cost of medical care for patients, even those with insurance, make it difficult for their families to allow their children the small simplicities of an after school program 2 or 3 times a week.Kids being Kids is the doorway for kids to explore life outside the illness.

We are looking for donations to start this program and enable KBK Foundation to become a 501(c)(3) non profit organization and apply for grants. Without this number from the IRS we are not and will not be recognized by the IRS to grant wishes to healthy kids who are not in control of their circumstance.

The American Cancer Society feels that once we are recognized by the IRS they would be willing to become a beneficiary and allow us not only to post on their website and have a direct link to our site which is national but use them in all of our mailings and list them on our websites.

All donors will be listed on our website and recognized for their contribution/

Please help us make healthy children's dreams come true and allow them the joy of normalcy. We may not have chosen the illness for ourselves but we don't want our children to miss out either!

Thank you for your time and consideration.
Tracy Chisolm
